Multi-Channel Video Publisher Privacy Policy

Multi-Channel Video Publisher Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Multi-Channel Video Publisher accesses, uses, stores, and handles information when interacting with Google services and the YouTube Data API.

Multi-Channel Video Publisher is a private desktop application used by its owner to manage video uploads to channels owned and controlled by the same operator.

The application is not offered to the general public or unrelated third parties.

  1. Information We Access

The application may access OAuth authorization data necessary to upload videos to explicitly authorized channels.

This may include access tokens, refresh tokens, authorization scope information, and related OAuth credential information required for authorized API access.

The application does not request, collect, or store Google account passwords.

  1. Video and Metadata Information

The application processes information supplied directly by the operator, including:

  • Video files selected for upload
  • Video titles
  • Video descriptions
  • Video tags
  • Privacy settings
  • Scheduled publishing dates and times
  1. YouTube API Services

Multi-Channel Video Publisher uses the YouTube Data API v3.

The application currently requests the following authorization scope:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload

This permission is used only for uploading and managing videos on channels explicitly authorized by their owner.

  1. How Google User Data Is Used

Google user data and OAuth authorization are used only to:

  • Authenticate authorized API requests
  • Upload videos
  • Submit video metadata
  • Apply supported privacy settings
  • Apply supported scheduled publishing settings
  • Maintain local upload records
  • Help prevent duplicate uploads

Google user data is not used for unrelated purposes.

  1. Data Storage

Multi-Channel Video Publisher operates primarily as a local desktop application.

OAuth tokens, upload history, metadata files, logs, and locally selected video files may be stored on the operator’s local computer.

OAuth credentials are not intentionally published or exposed through publicly accessible web pages.

  1. Data Sharing

Multi-Channel Video Publisher does not sell, rent, license, or trade Google user data.

Google user data is not shared with advertisers, data brokers, marketing platforms, or unrelated third parties.

Information is transmitted to Google and YouTube only as necessary to perform authorized API operations.

  1. Advertising

Google user data is not used to create advertising profiles, personalize advertisements, retarget users, or sell advertising audiences.

The API Client itself does not display advertising.

  1. Data Retention

Application information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain authorized upload functionality and local upload records.

OAuth authorization data may remain locally stored while the operator chooses to keep the associated channel connected.

  1. Revoking Access

Authorization may be revoked at any time through the user’s Google Account permissions.

After authorization is revoked, the application will no longer be able to access the affected account unless permission is granted again.

Corresponding locally stored OAuth token files may also be deleted.

  1. Data Deletion

The operator may delete locally stored OAuth tokens, upload history, metadata files, video files, and application logs at any time.

  1. Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to reduce unauthorized access to locally stored OAuth credentials and application data.

OAuth credentials are not intended to be exposed through public websites.

  1. Google API Services User Data Policy

Use of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy and applicable requirements governing Google user data.

  1. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the application’s functionality, Google API usage, or data-handling practices change.

The effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
